Qantas riprende l'attività31 October 2011
Qantas resumed domestic and international services this afternoon (Monday 31 October) Sydney time, shortly after the government's employment tribunal Fair Work Australia ordered the termination of the industrial action that led to the airline grounding all operations on Saturday.
Some delays, cancellations and disruptions were expected for the remainder of today as the airline worked to return its schedule to normal.
Tomorrow (Tuesday 1 November), all domestic services are planned to operate as usual, with the airline's international operations fully recovered later in the day.
It is offering full refunds to customers whose flights were cancelled due to industrial activity.
The airline plans to mount some additional services to help clear the backlog of passengers. Extra staff are also being positioned at airports to assist customers.

Qantas Chief Executive Alan Joyce said: "We sincerely regret the impact on customers of industrial action over recent months, and the effect on employees. All industrial action is now over and we have certainty. We look forward to a rapid recovery and to a period of stability enabling us to focus on our customers and our strategy for the airline."
